An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 3rd minute of play forced GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Radek Mervart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruy da Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time Floresta Club U18's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha to fire away a dangerous shot which Radek Mervart despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 7th minute Tomé Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radek Mervart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Léo de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Douglas de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radek Mervart having to interfere. With an all-out effort, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Léo de Brito threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Henríguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Wilfredo Henríguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Léo de Brito.
