Claudio Aznar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaromír Čížek went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bagni's Jaromír Čížek got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Tosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Ahlroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Bagni were awarded a corner. Arrigo Melone went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bagni's Arrigo Melone to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Aznar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Flinta got free with Arturo Tosi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaromír Čížek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Laureano Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Joxa mé trasan lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
