The Glorious FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after -BZF- Petrolul Berca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fang Hao Jing took the corner. Eusebiu Tunar might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo de Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebiu Tunar ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Carioca in the 22nd minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Antonio Olivieri to fire away a dangerous shot which Diogo de Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Glorious FC's Diogo de Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save The Glorious FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fang Hao Jing was the one to do the kick off. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Hao Jing in the 51st minute of play. Alexsandro Bueno struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Diogo de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Petrolul Berca. In the 59th minute of the match The Glorious FC got a corner. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fang Hao Jing ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on The Glorious FC's corner Fang Hao Jing fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lino Mazza quite easily take care of the ball. Diogo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Alagoano in the 62nd minute of the match. Charalambos Vokolos took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo de Souza. Diogo de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Diogo de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Patrick Cane hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eusebiu Tunar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Diogo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Glorious FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
