Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 20th minute of the match. Merengue FC's Domingo Jago got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Orçun Yalınalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Llorienzo. In the 29thth minute of the game Domingo Jago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Banaszak came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baldomiro Txindoki could save by the left post. Baldomiro Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Jago's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Orçun Yalınalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Llorienzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Chao Tian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC UNIREA Alba Iulia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
