After taking down the ball on Simbo FC's corner Sabri Ravelli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aimé Holtmann quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann got control of the ball when Tincho Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Temeswar Banat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabri Ravelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Simbo FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 73rd match minute, FC Temeswar Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirsten Wagenblast to maneuver through the defense. FC Temeswar Banat's attentive Eike Mack managed to snatch the ball when Javier Bazterrica made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Honorato Bibiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aimé Holtmann having to make a save.
