The supporters of April 25 SC booed when PS Gurame Bakar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acil Mulyadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. April 25 SC's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri De Rijck in the 24th minute of play. Dimitri De Rijck took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, PS Gurame Bakar's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Xi Chen came free, but Fiz Artealde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri De Rijck in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes April 25 SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yance Puspito who took care of the corner kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Ren Xi Chen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PS Gurame Bakar's Fiz Artealde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ren Xi Chen sped through PS Gurame Bakar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fiz Artealde. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by April 25 SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yance Puspito was slow to take the kick. During this time PS Gurame Bakar's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of April 25 SC's goalie and right to Acil Mulyadi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. April 25 SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 47 minutes into the match, PS Gurame Bakar's goal looked a bit too open when István Antal came free, but Fiz Artealde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dimitri De Rijck managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Gurame Bakar's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri De Rijck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes PS Gurame Bakar got a freekick which was hit by M. Sobar Sianturi. A collision led to PS Gurame Bakar getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. M. Sobar Sianturi hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, April 25 SC's Ramiro James nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiz Artealde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri De Rijck came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitri De Rijck might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitri De Rijck ran back to his position shaking his head. April 25 SC's Michel Platini was substituted for Antoni Augustyn. István Antal kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Dimitri De Rijck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Gurame Bakar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri De Rijck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dimitri De Rijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. PS Gurame Bakar's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because April 25 SC had won, even though PS Gurame Bakar had held more of the ball.
