A collision led to Villadeatese FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pitt Frøne hit a great ball. Dino Roberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Zarillo in the 17th minute of the match. Bernardo Cameli made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Armando Dorigatti however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Villadeatese FC's zone, Mattia Hummels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Roberto came out of the goal and Mattia Hummels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zabal Villanueva got free with Bruno Antognoni in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Luongo in the 27th minute of play. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Villadeatese FC's Ernesto Scevola was substituted for Dino Gazza. In the 74th minute Armando Natalucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Roberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
