After 5 played minutes, Cheadle's João Carlos Teive shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camillo Tullo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cheadle reached it. Gilbert Glapiak's late challenge caught a Cheadle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Glapiak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Warmia Grajewo's Gilbert Glapiak got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Vítor Fontão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Tullo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Polido's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Camillo Tullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Fontão in the 15th minute of the match. Tobiasz Bejgier kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Zé Polido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Tullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Warmia Grajewo defense, Zé Polido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Tullo. The Warmia Grajewo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Tullo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Zé Polido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheadle's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Polido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Tullo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Warmia Grajewo's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Fontão came free, but Camillo Tullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Polido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Tullo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Polido in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Tullo saved Warmia Grajewo from getting behind. When Zé Polido came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cheadle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Polido couldn't finish the play. Vítor Fontão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Tullo having to interfere. After the first half Cheadle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After 51 played minutes Cheadle got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Teive. In the 53rd minute of the match, Zé Polido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Camillo Tullo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheadle's goalkeeper Maurício Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camillo Tullo was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Zé Polido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Polido really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Fontão in the 61st minute of play forced Warmia Grajewo's goalkeeper Camillo Tullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Polido struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Camillo Tullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheadle. After 86 played minutes Warmia Grajewo got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Basaik. 89 minutes into the match, Warmia Grajewo's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Polido came free, but Camillo Tullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Polido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Camillo Tullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cheadle eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
