After a defensive mix-up in FC MARKUS's zone, Harm de Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Kostka came out of the goal and Harm de Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arkadiusz Kostka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC MARKUS's Arkadiusz Kostka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Di Blasio in the 22nd minute of play. Arkadiusz Kostka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Alessandro do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Kostka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. FC MARKUS's Arkadiusz Kostka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Di Blasio in the 32nd minute of play. Arkadiusz Kostka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harm de Freitas in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Alessandro do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Kostka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of FC MARKUS booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Di Blasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes FC MARKUS got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Japola. 48 minutes into the match, FC MARKUS's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Martini came free, but Arkadiusz Kostka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Di Blasio in the 51st minute of play forced FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Kostka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Freitas got free with Arkadiusz Kostka in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MarquinhosEC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
