C.F.CRESPOS CITY's Zuriko Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 6th minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zuriko Gil having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, C.F.CRESPOS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Zuriko Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Felix Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zuriko Gil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zuriko Gil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elivareo Casals came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the C.F.CRESPOS CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivareo Casals couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes in the game Sandu Cosariu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elivareo Casals. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.F.CRESPOS CITY's Zuriko Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 25th minute of play. SC Braga were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after C.F.CRESPOS CITY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin de Lara took the corner. After taking down the ball on SC Braga's corner Benjamin de Lara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zuriko Gil quite easily take care of the ball. Benjamin de Lara struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Zuriko Gil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. After a defensive mix-up in C.F.CRESPOS CITY's zone, Benjamin de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuriko Gil came out of the goal and Benjamin de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elivareo Casals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Alberda came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordeiro Olmedo. 43 minutes into the match, Elivareo Casals had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laçın Cumayev. SC Braga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elivareo Casals was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordeiro Olmedo made a kick off. After 51 played minutes C.F.CRESPOS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Victor Wuijts. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigmantas Gimbutas got free with Zuriko Gil in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordeiro Olmedo in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Stig-Åke Mattsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F.CRESPOS CITY's Zuriko Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute of the match SC Braga got a corner. C.F.CRESPOS CITY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon-Egil Sætre ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the C.F.CRESPOS CITY defense, Stig-Åke Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zuriko Gil. The C.F.CRESPOS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zuriko Gil should have stopped the shot. Zuriko Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, C.F.CRESPOS CITY's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stig-Åke Mattsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Stig-Åke Mattsson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zuriko Gil. C.F.CRESPOS CITY made a substitution. Benedykt Puchlik replaced Cordeiro Olmedo. 96 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zuriko Gil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The SC Braga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
