The supporters of KFC Welden booed when Ipswich Traktor Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Plopșor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Ipswich Traktor Boys's Niklas Lundqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Spoelberghe in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Gijselinckx in the 56th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Pierre-Alexandre Huysmans in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ipswich Traktor Boys's Slawomir Cisek. Niklas Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gillis Degens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Gillis Degens got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving KFC Welden hanging dry this time. When Pierre-Alexandre Huysmans came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the KFC Welden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Alexandre Huysmans couldn't finish the play. In the 67thth minute of the game Kristen Spoelberghe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wouter Gijselinckx in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Basso saved Ipswich Traktor Boys from getting behind. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf De Weijngaert in the 71st minute of the match. Niklas Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gillis Degens made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Gelu Plopșor put in a rough tackle. After 78 played minutes Ipswich Traktor Boys got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Plopșor. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Torgny Söderström was substituted for Slawomir Cisek. After 79 played minutes Ipswich Traktor Boys got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Plopșor. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Simon Musseeuw in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Herbert Holmgren took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Gillis Degens to make any attempt to save it. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wouter Gijselinckx in the 86th minute of play. Torgny Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gillis Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Raf De Weijngaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Wouter Gijselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wouter Gijselinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
