Skull Sport F.C's Jimmy Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Levandowsky came free, but Ray De Lauw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Lundin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas. But to his dismay, Ascencio Quintas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Levandowsky in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray De Lauw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Jose-Manuel Jauregui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jimmy Lundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ascencio Quintas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Jose-Manuel Jauregui made a great header on Vetusta's corner, it was just that Skull Sport F.C's Jimmy Lundin managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Vetusta's Ray De Lauw got control of the ball when Cui Xiang Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ascencio Quintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimmy Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Skull Sport F.C's Rony de Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ray De Lauw. That made the score 1-2 after 45 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ascencio Quintas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 51st minute of play forced Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper Jimmy Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jimmy Lundin managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute of the match Vetusta got a corner. Skull Sport F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andresito Sacristán ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jose-Manuel Jauregui heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ascencio Quintas couldn't finish the play. Ray De Lauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Xiang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. One of Skull Sport F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vetusta:s goal. In the 91st minute, Normando Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Lundin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 95 minutes into the match, João Augusto Barral notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Vetusta's Ray De Lauw. Ray De Lauw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vetusta were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Skull Sport F.C side.
