Osvaldo Roano charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Roano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gloria's Osvaldo Roano got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gloria's Isaias Baleren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Gloria from getting a goal against them. Hugo Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Hugo Itzaina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trapiche fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Admon came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Silvano Admon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Fe was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Federico Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Ikalewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Admon in the 36th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Hugo Itzaina from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Isaias Baleren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Modestio to make the kick off. Cristian Paraense hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ziggy Marley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Baleren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Mateusz Ikalewicz put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Fe. Gloria's Rafael Ramone was substituted for Mateusz Ikalewicz. Rafael Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Selatse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Baleren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gloria's Rafael Ramone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Fe. Federico Fe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Isaias Baleren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Modestio in the 83rd minute of the match. Trapiche's Cristian Paraense suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Osvaldo Roano was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Trapiche made a substitution. Honorio Ongile replaced Cristian Paraense. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, one of Gloria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gloria. The referee gave Trapiche a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hugo Itzaina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gloria's Isaias Baleren. 3-3. After 96 minutes of play, Trapiche's Rafael Modestio made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Baleren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trapiche made a substitution. Jaroslaw Gleba replaced Rafael Modestio.
