Franco Carrea hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jullian Elens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damiano De Feo. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Damiano De Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinas Zinkevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Faiella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th match minute, Atletico Kankero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Urbani to maneuver through the defense. Damiano De Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinas Zinkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Zhidelyay were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Atletico Kankero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomero Emenon took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Jullian Elens managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alfredas Nenortas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Damiano De Feo made a huge save. When Glyn Caine fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zhidelyay's protests and gave Glyn Caine a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredas Nenortas got free with Damiano De Feo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredas Nenortas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beppe Faiella in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drąsutis Navickas saved Zhidelyay from getting behind. The long shot by Baldomero Emenon in the 40th minute really tested Damiano De Feo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Drąsutis Navickas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Urbani in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Atletico Kankero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Schirru to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinas Zinkevičius in the 44th minute of play forced Atletico Kankero's goalkeeper Damiano De Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Zhidelyay's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Urbani came free, but Drąsutis Navickas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amos Urbani kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Damiano De Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jullian Elens, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Franco Carrea hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Damiano De Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredas Nenortas in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Zhidelyay getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Baldomero Emenon hit a great ball. Baldomero Emenon hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Beppe Faiella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Þórlaugur Vignisson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano De Feo. Damiano De Feo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Atletico Kankero's Domenico Mammarella was substituted for Ciro Schirru. The supporters of Zhidelyay booed when Atletico Kankero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Carrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano De Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredas Nenortas in the 79th minute of play. Amos Urbani in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Drąsutis Navickas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Drąsutis Navickas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amos Urbani in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zhidelyay's zone, Beppe Faiella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drąsutis Navickas came out of the goal and Beppe Faiella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damiano De Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petras Bračas in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Þórlaugur Vignisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Atletico Kankero's goal looked a bit too open when Þórlaugur Vignisson came free, but Damiano De Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Þórlaugur Vignisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano De Feo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Zhidelyay's Þórlaugur Vignisson. But to his dismay, Þórlaugur Vignisson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zhidelyay fully deserved thier win.
