An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Nogueira in the 7th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano de Lima came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogelo's Donato Nogueira. But to his dismay, Donato Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pombal 2003 F.C.'s zone, Donato Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano de Lima came out of the goal and Donato Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goalkeeper Võ Gozali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio Moraes. In the 22nd minute Donato Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Võ Gozali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Oker, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Sérgio Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Felippe da Cunha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Oker in the 31st minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Võ Gozali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Donato Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Nogueira scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fabiano de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Moraes in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dogelo's Võ Gozali got control of the ball when 曾沙坚 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anıl Oker to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when 曾沙坚 came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dogelo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aírton Bertassi in the 60th minute. Genílson Costa tried in the game's 60th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Luiz Fabiano de Lima. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. Võ Gozali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Oker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s 曾沙坚 got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurício Novaes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾沙坚 in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute 曾沙坚 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Gozali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Moraes in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Genílson Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Aírton Bertassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz Fabiano de Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donato Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. Dogelo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pombal 2003 F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
