Emílio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Leal having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Frederico Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SORRISO E. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ the free kick. In the 13th match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Ekström to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Maicon Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Emílio Ceresso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Leal. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Oliveira in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Frederico Gomes got a free kick in the 37th minute. Karl-Axel Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Leal having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Duta Setiawan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Duta Setiawan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Ceresso to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Karl-Axel Ekström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiko Souza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. SORRISO E. C.'s Edvaldo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duta Setiawan in the 54th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Freitas in the 64th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Maicon Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Kevin Durant was substituted for Victor Garcia. Duta Setiawan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Oliveira in the 78th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Isac, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Germán Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Leal having to interfere. In the 89th minute CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ were awarded a corner. Valdir Paes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Valdir Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Leal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 91 minutes, Bernardinho Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SORRISO E. C. and the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Freitas. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
