After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, André Luiz Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto de Godoi should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Paranaense hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kaká Goiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Sérgio de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Emanuel Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BMB IMOVEIS SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Paranaense couldn't finish the play. If Emanuel Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute André Luiz Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Goiano. Emanuel Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. André Luiz Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. José Augusto de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Kaká Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Didi Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Didi Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Sérgio de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaká Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Gaúcho in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, André Luiz Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 64th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Rosa to maneuver through the defense. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vides in the 70th minute of play. José Augusto de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. André Luiz Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but José Augusto de Godoi made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Emanuel Paranaense managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 88th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Melo to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Goiano's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BMB IMOVEIS SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
