The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Valle got free with Tomé Mota in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomé Mota had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Aníbal Fonseca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Tomé Mota was a little too slow when Aníbal Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Artur Maciejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Neves in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Agua Santa got a corner. Royal Knights FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alan Moreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alan Moreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Maciejewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 33 minutes, Cipriano Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agua Santa and the Royal Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomé Mota. Agua Santa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Valle got free with Tomé Mota in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Favoretto in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Marcel Corrêa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Knights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 94 minutes of play, Royal Knights FC's Marcel Corrêa made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there!
