In the 44th minute, one of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. Hélder Melo did an outstanding performance 47 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Melquiades Amor in the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí Machado to make the kick off. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Arí Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Machado got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arí Machado who took care of the corner kick. Egídio Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Arí Machado sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Felippe Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by BMB IMOVEIS SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arí Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Facundo Guerrero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo did a great save. Arí Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio de Azevedo having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Cafu de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu de Moraes. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélder Melo who took care of the corner kick.
