The referee showed Michel Stocks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Danilo Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Fernando Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Siqueira made a great header on Meninos De Cotia's corner, it was just that Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel managed to reach the ball for a save. Fernando Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Seco in the 9th minute of play. Jeremias Seco scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Miguel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Futbol Club RRFV! Futbol Club RRFV:s Fernando Miguel showed great skill when he stopped Agnaldo Siqueira:s penalty. 16 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Batistuta. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Futbol Club RRFV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agnaldo Siqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Meninos De Cotia's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jeremias Seco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Meninos De Cotia's Danilo Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Brito in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Michel Stocks hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Luís Guilherme Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Meninos De Cotia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Miguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Seco went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Mao Yu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 41st minute of play. When Evaristo Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Club RRFV's protests and gave Evaristo Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. In the 43rd minute Michel Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Michel Batistuta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Miguel. Michel Batistuta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Batistuta made a kick off. Michel Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Jeremias Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos De Cotia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Fernando Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Jeremias Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Miguel came out of the goal and Jeremias Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Pombal's late challenge caught a Meninos De Cotia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Michel Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Miguel was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Meninos De Cotia's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Batistuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Xacintu Marin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Fernando Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Meninos De Cotia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Futbol Club RRFV for a fine match.
