Iker Boruc started the match with the kick off. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Iker Boruc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 7 minutes into the game, Iker Boruc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Piotr Osikowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc. But to his dismay, Iker Boruc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Iker Boruc put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. 27 minutes into the match, Iker Boruc notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 minutes, Válbson Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Verde FC and the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the game, Iker Boruc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Verde FC the free kick. Iker Boruc kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Iker Boruc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Pérez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Iker Boruc came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Boruc couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Pombal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Pirani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raúl Breckenfeld scored 0-9 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorian Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ made a substitution. Kaká Ferreira replaced Beraldo Soberano. If Mathias Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Iker Boruc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and Iker Boruc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Boruc in the 68th minute. Valdir Pérez was a little too slow when Iker Boruc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-10. The audience was convinced that Iker Boruc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When Iker Boruc came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Boruc couldn't finish the play. Valdir Pérez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Boruc in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Pérez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serginho Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the match was over ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than União Verde FC throughout the match.
