The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cuca Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cuca Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Palestra do Interior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cuca Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 59 minutes into the match, Mario Duplantier notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ogro F.C. fully deserved thier win.
