ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erhard Esbo ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Kurdistan's Nils Hopp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Layton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Carlo Darrigrande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alaaddin Solskjær narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 30th minute of play. Orlando Mangueira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Iwan Kasiewski replaced Nils Hopp. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Orlando Mangueira hit a great ball. After the first half FC Kurdistan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Darrigrande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Sundström got free with Roberto Layton in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Sundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Layton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Carlo Darrigrande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Lars Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Layton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bammerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 95th minute of play.
