Mário Maranhense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adolfo Paris. CerKeteam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hans Reints's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Ronaldo Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, CerKeteam's Víctor Muelas got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Christian Passos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris. Adolfo Paris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Lucas in the 18th minute of play. Adolfo Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Passos in the 22nd minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Montevideo's Christian Passos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Passos in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Paris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zahar Casas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Adolfo Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Maranhense in the 37th minute of the match. Adolfo Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Christian Passos took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Paris. Adolfo Paris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Laerte Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christian Passos in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolfo Paris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adolfo Paris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Passos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Montevideo got a corner. CerKeteam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mário Maranhense ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 64 in the game by Christian Passos from a close distance when the talented Adolfo Paris managed to make a qualified save. CerKeteam's players were relieved. Adolfo Paris was a little too slow when Christian Passos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 68th minute, Laerte Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Montevideo defense, Hans Reints kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Medeiros. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, CerKeteam's Zahar Casas got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Mário Maranhense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris didn't even have to move. Christian Passos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Adolfo Paris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Corneliu Văcăroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, Montevideo's Mário Maranhense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adolfo Paris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo reached it. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Wilson Fernandez got a free kick in the 81st minute. Laerte Lucas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Adolfo Paris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Lucas got free with Adolfo Paris in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laerte Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Passoss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Adolfo Paris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adolfo Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Montevideo's Luisito Antequera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match was over Montevideo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CerKeteam throughout the match.
