After taking down the ball on Barcellos Mineiro FC's corner Amílton Loyola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Altay Bayındır quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Apelkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Ugutz. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Apelkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. SARI ZEYBEK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Moon in the 23rd minute. Marcos Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute of the match, Wambasther Robben got a very nice opportunity to score, but Altay Bayındır was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 46 played minutes SARI ZEYBEK got a freekick which was hit by Peyami Zağanos. After the first half SARI ZEYBEK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Marcos Fantini. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Oskar Apelkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuz İmren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro replaced Tião Paraíba. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luisinho Uribe was substituted for Jorge Carrascal. Luisinho Uribe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Bayındır having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Altay Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Mergea to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SARI ZEYBEK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
