But to his dismay, Maciej Niewiadomski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. DeaDpOoL were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Mainumby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oğuzcan Sayhan took the corner. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Niewiadomski in the 28th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Cyprian Bugno put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Guaberto Cucao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Niewiadomski in the 47th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Silvano Tiadoro's late challenge caught a DeaDpOoL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Tiadoro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Silvano Tiadoro hit a great ball. Guaberto Cucao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Cumhur Mürşit's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Mustafa Cumhur Mürşit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Guaberto Cucao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mustafa Cumhur Mürşit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Cucao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The DeaDpOoL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DeaDpOoL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
