In the 3rdth minute of the game Jan Koller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Deportivo Ortegano got a corner. Universidade Celestial FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmondo Melone ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Deportivo Ortegano's Edmondo Melone to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaston Sessa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaston Sessa was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Jan Koller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Koller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korneliusz Rasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Carvalho in the 13th minute of play. Eugênio Negri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Korneliusz Rasimowicz. Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gaston Sessa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jan Koller sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes Universidade Celestial FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmondo Melone who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Universidade Celestial FC's Christian Sampaio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Universidade Celestial FC from getting a goal against them. Jan Koller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Oinomoas Konstantatos hit a great ball. Gaston Sessa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Koller's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jan Koller struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gaston Sessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ortegano. With a little luck, Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa got control of the ball when Jan Koller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jan Koller scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Sessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ian Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ian Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Jan Koller recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Sessa. Jan Koller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Koller made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Sessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Sessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Universidade Celestial FC booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslao Cortes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes, Universidade Celestial FC's Eugênio Negri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Korneliusz Rasimowicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Universidade Celestial FC reached it. Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 70th minute of play. Deportivo Ortegano's Nicasio Guipuzcoa was substituted for Dario Draxler. The corner led to Deportivo Ortegano's Oinomoas Konstantatos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 96th minute, Nicasio Guipuzcoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Sessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 98 minutes into the game, Didi Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universidade Celestial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Universidade Celestial FC's Didi Paranaense got a free kick in the 98th minute. Gaston Sessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orland Uceda in the 99th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Ortegano had won after a very even match.
