Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gu Chang Peng to make the kick off. Mano Hume came out of the goal and Gu Chang Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Severo Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ripa FC's attentive Alvaro Jakes managed to snatch the ball when Zdeněk Kozlík made a throw-in in the 98th minute of the game.
