Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Pavone in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortin FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luisito Godoy in the 9th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Douglas Tepedino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 10 minutes into the match. Isaias Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Euloxu in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fortin FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Manuelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Perugorría's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Perugorría's corner Ernesto Manuelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isaias Hug quite easily take care of the ball. When Fortin FC's Gilberto Mello in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Fortin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Romildo came free, but Isaias Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Fortin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Hitzeder to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Hipolito Mel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Hipolito Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortin FC's Isaias Hug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Mel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Fortin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Erasmo Gartzen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Perugorría defense, Mariano Pavone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Matxin. The Perugorría fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Matxin should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Gilberto Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ciriaco Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Romildo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaias Hug, 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fortin FC had won after a very even match.
