Andreas Spante hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Simon Bannenbusch in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Bannenbusch got free with Patrick Armstrong in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes in the game, Wofgang Kopitz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patrick Armstrong having to interfere. Simon Bannenbusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Armstrong having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Alagoano. ManagerZone Crew's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Chiquinho Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Patrick Armstrong, making the score, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Heinz Rummel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Spante hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong got control of the ball when Simon Bannenbusch tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ununger in the 31st minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Mios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wofgang Kopitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Wofgang Kopitz came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Peter Linkhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Mios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Simon Bannenbusch fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 45th minute of the match, Wofgang Kopitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrick Armstrong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Bannenbusch was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Wofgang Kopitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Uerdingen 05's supporters rose to their feet, but Wofgang Kopitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ManagerZone Crew's zone, Simon Bannenbusch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal and Simon Bannenbusch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Alagoano in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Chiquinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 69th minute. Simon Bannenbusch scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Dietz. Wofgang Kopitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Patrick Armstrong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Arseniy Bokatyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Uerdingen 05's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ManagerZone Crew the free kick. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arseniy Bokatyuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Artemio Banegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Armstrong. ManagerZone Crew's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Banegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. KFC Uerdingen 05 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
