In the 18th minute Anfilogino Furia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, El Globo Tiene Aguante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Llera to maneuver through the defense. El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's Jacinto Firmo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norberto Ursino, made in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Di Luca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's Kazimierz Trojanowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zhang Hong Xun. That made the score 2-1 after 56 minutes of play. Kazimierz Trojanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhang Hong Xun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Trojanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Antonio Di Luca sped through El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loco Buffon. Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Trojanowski in the 74th minute of the match.
