The audience thought a goal was coming when Joko Waluyo got free with Generoso Beloki in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joko Waluyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curcio Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Widodo Reza made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goal looked a bit too open when Nevada Lopez de Toro came free, but Widodo Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vodka Stars 1949 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
