Antonio Bernard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Tony Kroneder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Tony Kroneder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Pika. In the 25th minute Victor Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Kroneder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute TALLERES DE CBA were awarded a corner. Ronaldo Pika went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led TALLERES DE CBA's Josué Braga to a score. 1-0 in the 26th minute. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lesiecki in the 35th minute of play. Lucio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Buznea, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Roch Wojno came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Twierdza Wroclaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Wojno couldn't finish the play. Roch Wojno hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tony Kroneder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bernard in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anfilogino Pantani hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Twierdza Wroclaw defense, Jeremias Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Kroneder. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Kroneder should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Stefan Lesiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Kroneder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pika in the 69th minute of the match. Lucio Afonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Lesiecki in the 73rd minute. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Buznea in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Buznea in the 77th minute of play forced TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Niculae Buznea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucio Afonso. Niculae Buznea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Niculae Buznea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twierdza Wroclaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Buznea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The TALLERES DE CBA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
