Nico Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oktay Özdoğal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. But to his dismay, Qiao Wen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Santiago Futebol Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
