Shi Li started the match with the kick off. Shi Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hieronim Walczyk made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Vihar Milev came free, but Irinel Mirciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Walczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Negrițoiu in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ange Di Maria to maneuver through the defense. Gheorghe Ducu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC LongeR booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Ducu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irinel Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihar Milev in the 27th minute of play. Vihar Milev made a great header on FC LongeR's corner, it was just that Galati Harbour Cats's Irinel Mirciu managed to reach the ball for a save. Vihar Milev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Mirciu having to make a save. Irinel Mirciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vihar Milev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Li recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Ré during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Ré to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Iliuță to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vihar Milev to make the kick off. Shi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hieronim Walczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 60th minute of the match. Hieronim Walczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Irinel Mirciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedim Yazgı. Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man was substituted for Shi Li. In the 68th minute of the match FC LongeR got a corner. Galati Harbour Cats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vihar Milev ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vihar Milev made a great header on FC LongeR's corner, it was just that Galati Harbour Cats's Irinel Mirciu managed to reach the ball for a save. Galati Harbour Cats made a substitution. Antoni Dembkowski replaced Onurhan Çinuçin. Irinel Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vihar Milev in the 79th minute of the match. Ianis Man struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hieronim Walczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galati Harbour Cats. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ianis Man in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hieronim Walczyk saved FC LongeR from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Hieronim Walczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
