With a little luck, SAWEX FC's Sigvard Boström got control of the ball when Ingvar Strand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Strand in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Boström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Red John S.K's Ingvar Strand ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sigvard Boström. Sigvard Boström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Strand got free with Sigvard Boström in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SAWEX FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Ingvar Strand scored to the left of an out of position Sigvard Boström, making the score, 2-0. After 20 played minutes SAWEX FC got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Prusinowski. If Denílson Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sigvard Boström made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ingvar Strand sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Traczewski in the 23rd minute of play forced Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Strand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigvard Boström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Sigvard Boström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isa Günyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. SAWEX FC's Sigvard Boström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute, Henrique Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Boström was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Zbyszko Kajder took a quick shot and it went in 9-1 without a chance for Cássio Corinth to make any attempt to save it. Sigvard Boström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Bach's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Olaf Hetman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Cássio Corinth made a huge save. Radomil Barys made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Red John S.K's Jakue Llave. If Sebastian Bach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the SAWEX FC defense, Sebastian Bach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Boström. The SAWEX FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Boström should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Bach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Boström was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Red John S.K's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
