A beautiful save bye Anonimous FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cherif Badis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Kader Hasni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cherif Badis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madjid Moussa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes, Madjid Moussa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kader Hasni was the one to do the kick off. Cherif Badis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Monteiro in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Vascogoianiense FC got a corner. Anonimous FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aírton Sousa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vascogoianiense FC's Aírton Sousa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cherif Badis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nelsinho Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kader Hasni in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Anonimous FC booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vascogoianiense FC's Carlos Eduardo Sergipano was substituted for Matheus Neto. Anonimous FC's Thelma Merah was substituted for Bordat Santibañez. Vascogoianiense FC made a substitution.
