Thanks to some nice moves Marcial Munio could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Lütfi Kutlubay however easily saved by the left post. Bartolo Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Otávio Freitas succeeded in the game's 31st minute to get real power on a long shot . San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! Anastasio Amesti, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Amesti ran over to the corner to take the kick. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Onal in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcial Munio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lütfi Kutlubay was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
