FC NESYT SEDLEC's Rodrick Ludwig got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gyál United's Gyula Grosics proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them. After 10 played minutes FC NESYT SEDLEC got a freekick which was hit by Otta Koranda. Franci Plánička showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 11th minute of the match. Rodrick Ludwig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrick Ludwig did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gyula Grosics 16 minutes into the match. Franci Plánička showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Bienvenu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gyál United's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Mikeš in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Breckenfeld in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franci Plánička prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gyula Grosics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Mikeš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC NESYT SEDLEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiří Salaba in the 41st minute. Rodrick Ludwig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoltán Varga made a kick off. Rodrick Ludwig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC NESYT SEDLEC's Franci Plánička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Varga in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, FC NESYT SEDLEC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Franci Plánička reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Gyál United were awarded a corner. Ignác Mayer went to the cornerflag to take it. FC NESYT SEDLEC's Franci Plánička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 62nd minute of play. Rodrick Ludwig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gyula Grosics read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Rodrick Ludwig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Petran made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ignác Mayer. After having played for 75 minutes, Jaroslav Herák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NESYT SEDLEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslav Herák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franci Plánička saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC NESYT SEDLEC's Franci Plánička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Gyál United booed when FC NESYT SEDLEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otta Koranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, FC NESYT SEDLEC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Franci Plánička reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gyál United's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute Rodrick Ludwig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC NESYT SEDLEC made a substitution. Vojtěch Šlajs replaced Rodrick Ludwig. FC NESYT SEDLEC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
