Benvido Fuica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Natalio Marcones made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Manilan Monterrey immediately put the ball in play. Bernardino Llorenc hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barto Gayoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Raven Heart fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Raven Heart's Manilan Monterrey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th match minute, Raven Heart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Barrutia in the 29th minute of play. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Gayoso in the 32nd minute of play. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manilan Monterrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Raven Heart's Ali Behzat İlbilge was substituted for Kelemen Reyna. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barto Gayoso to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Raven Heart defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benvido Fuica. The Raven Heart fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benvido Fuica should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Raven Heart's Kurt Blixt got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos was substituted for Bernardino Llorenc. Joinville City - FSCMZ's George Pogba was substituted for João Francisco Arce. In the 73rd minute Adhemar Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benvido Fuica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Allbäck in the 75th minute of play forced Raven Heart's goalkeeper Benvido Fuica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benvido Fuica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Santos went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Benvido Fuica came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos. But to his dismay, Adhemar Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Benvido Fuica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Allbäck's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raven Heart's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrique Camargo was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville City - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Benvido Fuica didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marcus Allbäck shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 96 minutes, Manilan Monterrey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raven Heart and the Joinville City - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Manilan Monterrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
