Carlos Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aprígio Montenegro having to interfere. Francisco Infante came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by CheR FC's Marcos Lluis. But to his dismay, Marcos Lluis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Motowski in the 21st minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Lluis in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, CheR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herberto Caiado came free, but Aprígio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro got control of the ball when Herberto Caiado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Lluis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, CheR FC's Marcos Lluis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Infante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Infante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Lluis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. CheR FC's İlmi Sidar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horácio Sobral, made in the 61st minute of the game. Carlos Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Marcos Lluis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Lluis in the 83rd minute of play. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Lluis in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Infante saved Lima Team from getting behind. When Marcos Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the CheR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Lluis couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Marcos Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CheR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Lluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
