Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelo Cordero kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Dino Manfredi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute Villaverde Celeste Clube were awarded a corner. Guo Ao went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Guo Ao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dražen Ladić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcelo Cordero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıraç Uskan in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dražen Ladić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nenko Reza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Cordero went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, William Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dražen Ladić. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza got control of the ball when Marcelo Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kıraç Uskan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Lucjan Sanocki got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Lucas in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nenko Reza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Fiszer. After 44 played minutes, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Guo Ao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dražen Ladić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaverde Celeste Clube reached it. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
