The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Toro Rosso FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gloucester City AFC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Feliz in the 6th minute of play forced Gloucester City AFC's goalkeeper Danny Jumel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Toro Rosso FC's zone, Bruce Marler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bourouselos came out of the goal and Bruce Marler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Chucky Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Carragher in the 15th minute of the match. Gloucester City AFC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Toro Rosso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noel Hargrave took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Noel Hargrave got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alketas Bourouselos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alketas Bourouselos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruce Marler in the 19th minute. After 19 played minutes Bruce Marler rounded Toro Rosso FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Noel Hargrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruce Marler made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 25thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Alketas Bourouselos would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Wu Cheng De struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Danny Jumel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toro Rosso FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Carragher in the 28th minute of play forced Toro Rosso FC's goalkeeper Alketas Bourouselos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Carragher in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruce Marler got free with Alketas Bourouselos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gloucester City AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sven Byström hit a great ball. Cesar Txema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sven-Åke Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the match, Toro Rosso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hargrave came free, but Alketas Bourouselos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Carragher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Petersson in the 65th minute of play forced Toro Rosso FC's goalkeeper Alketas Bourouselos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gloucester City AFC's Tyler Willmott was substituted for Teddy Martin. Toro Rosso FC made a substitution. Genaro Clementi replaced D.J. 刘冰冰. Toro Rosso FC's Alketas Bourouselos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Marler in the 84th minute of play. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Marler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Mino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Toro Rosso FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Higinio Joachim hit a great ball. Gloucester City AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
