Bernardo Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Basso in the 13th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Fitz Pickard in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Plebeyos's Enzo Kusko. Guilherme Basso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Abeijon having to make a save. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Basso in the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orhan Ortanca got free with Arsenio Cordeal in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Guilherme Basso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ampthill FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Abeijon should have stopped the shot. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Alvino Serre replaced Gez Little. Guilherme Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Basso in the 35th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Plebeyos's protests and gave Guilherme Basso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Plebeyos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Plebeyos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
