The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Anibal Fernandez in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Perinkää FC's Launo Pasanen. A collision led to Perinkää FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Herman Noronen hit a great ball. Gabriel Ramstadius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Perinkää FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perttu Kankaanperä to maneuver through the defense. Colon Losada, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pekka Tallus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Perinkää FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo La Coruna:s goal. The referee gave Deportivo La Coruna a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Colon Losada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Perinkää FC's Elias Tarvajärvi. 0-1. Elias Tarvajärvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Doblas in the 33rd minute of the match. William Doblas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Perinkää FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo La Coruna were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Doblas made a kick off. Elias Tarvajärvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colon Losada in the 51st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Colon Losada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elias Tarvajärvi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute, Manuel Solera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo La Coruna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When William Doblas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Deportivo La Coruna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Doblas couldn't finish the play. Aatos Leino might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbasa Camarasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aatos Leino ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo La Coruna's Colon Losada suffered a sore thigh after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Manuel Solera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo La Coruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Solera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Tarvajärvi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, William Doblas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Tarvajärvi, 0-3. In the 89th minute, Dolfo Torrent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aatos Leino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbasa Camarasa. Deportivo La Coruna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, William Doblas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo La Coruna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perinkää FC the free kick. After 92 played minutes Deportivo La Coruna got a freekick which was hit by William Doblas. Aatos Leino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Urbasa Camarasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perinkää FC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo La Coruna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
