Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ediberto de Moraes got the match started through his kick off. Edgar Jianu made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ediberto de Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Jianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto de Moraes in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, Berbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Cazacu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Constantin Bodnar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berbi's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Bodnar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Fronteiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Fronteiro's Willian Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Hurgoi in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Hurmuzescu in the 14th minute of play forced Fronteiro's goalkeeper Willian Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renatinho Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Macavei scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Dias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Robinho Paranaense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto de Moraes in the 35th minute of play forced Berbi's goalkeeper Edgar Jianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berbi's Vlad Cazacu got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Vlad Cazacu off the ground. In the 46th minute, Vlad Cazacu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Berbi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Hurgoi to make the kick off. Edgar Jianu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Fronteiro's Robinho Paranaense. But to his dismay, Robinho Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Renatinho Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Jianu having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ediberto de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fronteiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Willian Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Hurgoi in the 66th minute. After 69 minutes, Sorin Hurmuzescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berbi and the Fronteiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fronteiro booed when Berbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Hurmuzescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Jianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renatinho Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Jianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Berbi defense, Renatinho Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Jianu. The Berbi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Jianu should have stopped the shot. If Robinho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Hurgoi in the 91st minute of play forced Fronteiro's goalkeeper Willian Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Bodnar during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robinho Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Jianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robinho Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head.
