Grunnfør FC's Raymond Schjølberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Hats in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Grunnfør FC defense, Gaston Cedro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Schjølberg. The Grunnfør FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Schjølberg should have stopped the shot. In the 10thth minute of the game Leonides Hats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grunnfør FC's Raymond Schjølberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Hats during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mezh Team's Leonides Hats got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Grunnfør FC booed when Mezh Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Gaston Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Schjølberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Raymond Schjølberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Schjølberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Hats in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Cedro in the 25th minute of play forced Grunnfør FC's goalkeeper Raymond Schjølberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Leonides Hats made a precise shot to the right of Raymond Schjølberg. Grunnfør FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Leonides Hats came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mezh Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Hats couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Grunnfør FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Arne Dragland. Raymond Schjølberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Cedro's late challenge caught a Grunnfør FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Cedro helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Mezh Team got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Cedro. 39 minutes into the game, Mezh Team's Leonides Hats nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raymond Schjølberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Grunnfør FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Cedro came free, but Raymond Schjølberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Kristiansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Anton Kristiansen made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mezh Team's Joaquin Ponc got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Leonides Hats came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mezh Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Hats couldn't finish the play. In the 59thth minute of the game Gaston Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grunnfør FC's Raymond Schjølberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Gaston Cedro notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Grunnfør FC's Raymond Schjølberg. Raymond Schjølberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Kristiansen in the 66th minute of play forced Mezh Team's goalkeeper Juan Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Mezh Team got a freekick which was hit by Juan Kemen. If Preben Derås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Carmelo Corderun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raymond Schjølberg. Carmelo Corderun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Mezh Team's Aurelio Reno was substituted for Leonides Hats. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Isaac Caitano with Carmelo Corderun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Raymond Schjølberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ponc in the 82nd minute of the match. Mezh Team's Juan Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Kristiansen in the 86th minute of play. When Anton Kristiansen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Grunnfør FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Kristiansen couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Mezh Team's Joaquin Ponc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Raymond Schjølberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Cedro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 95 minute of play. Mezh Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
