Ciro Pari got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ennio Del Vecchio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Biagio Selvaggi made a kick off. The supporters of Atalanta booed when Perinkää FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perttu Kankaanperä didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Tarvajärvi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anthony Tardelli. A beautiful save bye Perinkää FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Ramstadius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessandro Pellegrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannu Paajanen in the 70th minute of the match. Elias Tarvajärvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Tardelli in the 72nd minute of play. When Cristiano Basso came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Atalanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Basso couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Perinkää FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Launo Pasanen hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Atalanta's goal looked a bit too open when Aatos Leino came free, but Alessandro Pellegrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Cristiano Basso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elias Tarvajärvi. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atalanta's zone, Gabriel Ramstadius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Pellegrini came out of the goal and Gabriel Ramstadius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aatos Leino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eraldo Mercuri hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
