Yamanlar SK's Fuat Birsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Costa in the 13th minute of play. If Luiz Paulo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Gilvan Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yamanlar SK's Fuat Birsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luiz Paulo Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fuat Birsen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Carandahy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mané Koehler came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Yamanlar SK's Erkin Şafakgün. But to his dismay, Erkin Şafakgün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carandahy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
