Alessandro Pellegrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Reeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Reeder in the 29th minute of play forced Atalanta's goalkeeper Alessandro Pellegrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Donald Reeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Pellegrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drejens FC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Atalanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erling Tafelli took the corner. Atalanta's Alberto Leone managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bjørn Vinthen in the 82 minute of the game. When Biagio Selvaggi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Atalanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Selvaggi couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes in the game Bøje Holkenborg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bjørn Vinthen. Alessandro Pellegrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Reeder in the 88th minute of the match.
